The brief was to create a logo in the shape of the anahata chakra, using the concepts of the Integral Theory, to reflect human development.
The logo design evolved through a study of the stages of development as per the Integral Theory in Integral psychology, which forms the philosophical basis of the organization. Teal, green and yellow represent the stages of growth as per spiral dynamics in Integral theory, and were layered as such in the shape of twelve flower petals of the anahata chakra. The shape of the anahata chakra (heart center) was retained to delineate the spiritual basis of the organization. The green spiral (representing spiral dynamics) and the Zen enso in the center embodied the integral approach of the organization.
