GMIC is an international conference organized on mobile technology by GWC. The brief was rather simple: they needed a 4 page marketing brochure around the theme of "mobile."
The colors and typefaces were chosen in discussion with the client, to give a modern, corporate savvy look.
THEME PROPOSAL #1
This was the first theme proposed. The theme was giving more of a mechnical look, rather than electronic, and hence was revised. The color scheme was kept as-is.
THEME PROPOSAL: FINAL
The next theme was created around the theme of semiconductors, tying in with the idea of "everything mobile". the layout was kept interesting, but not on a grid, to allow for variety of content.
